On-Site IT Engineers for Mining

On-Site IT Engineers for Mining Operations

Qualified field engineers for physical technology work at mine sites, camps, plants and depots. Router, switch, rack and WiFi installs, server deployments, device rollouts, CCTV commissioning and site mobilisation — planned around inductions, access permits and site safety requirements.

Some work cannot be done remotely. A new crusher control room needs a comms rack; a camp expansion needs 60 access points; a server has failed and someone has to swap it.

We provide engineers who arrive inducted, equipped and briefed — with a clear scope, the right hardware already shipped and remote senior engineers on standby.

Mobilisation planning

Every site visit begins with planning: inductions and medicals, site access approvals, flights and accommodation, permits to work, equipment freight and a method statement. Where a site has specific requirements — vehicle licences, working-at-heights tickets, confined-space restrictions — we confirm them before dispatch.

Typical work

Engineers install and configure network equipment, commission WiFi and CCTV, deploy servers, image and roll out devices, replace failed hardware and support technology refreshes. At the end of a program they can also demobilise and recover equipment.

On-site attendance is quoted per engagement and depends on engineer availability, site access and induction requirements.

Delivery methodology

How we deliver

01

Assess

We review your sites, users, connectivity and risks, and confirm scope, access and induction requirements.

02

Design

We select standard, supportable technology and document the solution, costs and delivery plan.

03

Deploy

Equipment is prepared and tested before dispatch; remote and field engineers implement around your rosters.

04

Support

Everything is monitored and supported 24/7, with field services coordinated when physical work is needed.

Frequently asked questions

Are your engineers inducted for our site?

+

We coordinate inductions as part of mobilisation planning. Lead time depends on each site's process.

Can engineers travel to PNG and Indonesia?

+

Overseas field work depends on visas, local regulations and availability and is scoped individually.

Do you supply the hardware as well?

+

Yes, we can procure, configure and ship hardware ahead of the visit so engineers install rather than configure on site.

How are on-site engineers charged?

+

Field engineering is quoted separately from the $99/user helpdesk, based on scope, duration and travel.
