Mining Fibre Optic Cabling
Mining Fibre Optic and Structured Cabling
The physical foundation of every site network. We plan and coordinate single-mode and multimode fibre backbones, Cat6 and Cat6A copper, racks, cabinets and patch panels, cabling to WiFi and CCTV, outdoor pathways and protection — fully tested and documented.
Wireless and internet links are only as reliable as the cabling beneath them. On mine sites, cabling must also survive dust, UV, heat, vehicles and long distances.
Planning around the environment
Installations are planned around environmental exposure, distance, available pathways and site rules — whether that means conduit, cable trays, aerial runs or trenching coordinated with site civil teams.
Testing and documentation
Every run is tested and labelled, and as-built documentation records routes, terminations and results so future changes are straightforward.
All regulated cabling work is performed by appropriately licensed or registered personnel.

Delivery methodology
How we deliver
Assess
We review your sites, users, connectivity and risks, and confirm scope, access and induction requirements.
Design
We select standard, supportable technology and document the solution, costs and delivery plan.
Deploy
Equipment is prepared and tested before dispatch; remote and field engineers implement around your rosters.
Support
Everything is monitored and supported 24/7, with field services coordinated when physical work is needed.
Frequently asked questions
When should we use fibre instead of copper?
+
Fibre suits longer distances, inter-building links and electrically noisy environments; copper suits shorter runs to end devices.
Are your cablers registered?
+
Regulated cabling work is carried out by appropriately licensed or registered personnel.
Do you provide test results?
+
Yes, test results and as-built documentation are provided.
Can you work during shutdowns?
+
Yes, we plan cabling around shutdown windows and site access.
