Mining Drone Data Storage
Drone Video & Survey Data Infrastructure for Mining
Infrastructure for high-volume drone data. Large-capacity NAS, 10GbE networking, high-performance and GPU-capable workstations, local file servers and controlled cloud synchronisation let survey teams ingest, process and share imagery on site instead of waiting on satellite uploads.
Modern mine surveying and inspection workflows can create large volumes of high-resolution imagery, video, photogrammetry and mapping data.
Uploading these datasets from a remote site across constrained satellite connections may be inefficient. We design local NAS, server and network infrastructure for fast ingestion, controlled access, on-site processing and scheduled transfers.
From drone to deliverable
Flights are offloaded to fast local storage over 10GbE, processed on capable workstations or servers, and only the finished deliverables — or scheduled bulk transfers — move across the internet.
Backups and archives
Raw captures and outputs are backed up and archived according to your retention needs. RAID does not replace backups.

Delivery methodology
How we deliver
Assess
We review your sites, users, connectivity and risks, and confirm scope, access and induction requirements.
Design
We select standard, supportable technology and document the solution, costs and delivery plan.
Deploy
Equipment is prepared and tested before dispatch; remote and field engineers implement around your rosters.
Support
Everything is monitored and supported 24/7, with field services coordinated when physical work is needed.
Frequently asked questions
Why not upload drone data straight to the cloud?
+
Over constrained links, uploads can take days; local processing is often faster and cheaper.
Do we need 10GbE?
+
For frequent large transfers, faster networking significantly reduces wait time.
Can you support processing software?
+
We provide the infrastructure; application configuration is coordinated with the vendor.
How is drone data backed up?
+
With local backup, archival storage and selective off-site copies.
